Freight Container Casters / Towcasters

Revvo Caster introduces the patented "Towbar" attachment for use with its "Towcasters" to move ISO freight containers quickly and easily without using expensive equipment such as cranes, gantries, or side-loading forks. Sold in sets of two, Towbar measures eight feet (2.4 meters) long and fits securely into the ISO container corner brackets immediately above the swivel Towcasters. They attach to the towing vehicle using standard link pins up to 1-1/2" (3.8 cm) diameter. The Towcaster sets with Towbars help to ensure smooth, easy towing using a fork lift, tractor, or other towing vehicle.

Towcasters are extra-heavy-duty casters provided in sets of four, two swivel and two fixed casters. They feature rugged polyurethane-on-cast-iron wheels and are available in two sizes with wheel diameters of 10 inches (25 cm) and load capacities of 22,000 lbs. (9,072 kg) and 12-inch (30 cm) wheel diameters with 26,400-lbs. (11,975 kg) load capacities. One person can install a set of Towcasters with two Towbars on a container following simple instructions provided by Revvo Caster.
